The city is divided into two distinct parts: the old town and newer residential development near the beach. The old town has an amazing Andalusian atmosphere. Head to its beating heart, Plaza de la Iglesia, home to a beautiful church surrounded by narrow streets. Walk the surrounding streets and discover some interesting independent local shops. If you feel hungry, you can taste delicious tapas in one of the many restaurants and bars in town.
You are a short walk from the beach where you can find a large selection of restaurants along its palm promenade. There are plenty of charming chiringuitos beach bars as well.
