Why move to Nueva Andalucia?

Move here for stunning natural surroundings, beautiful beaches, top-notch golf facilities and easy access to Marbella.

Nueva Andalucia is a green residential area of luxury villas and apartments located in Marbella, southern Spain. The area has a subtropical Mediterranean climate with hot summers and warm winters, with a cool breeze from the sea that tempers the summer heat.

This exclusive area is very popular thanks to its wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea and the majestic Sierra de Ronda Mountains, not to mention the proximity to the beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol. Amenities are excellent – shops, bars and restaurants, hairdressers, gyms, casinos, Saturday markets and golf clubs are within walking distance.

With so many amazing facilities nearby, you can get around quite easily without leaving the site.

Speaking of golf, there are four top-notch golf courses at your fingertips, all with stunning scenery, challenging courses and excellent equipment. Aloha Golf, Las Brisas, Los Naranjos offer excellent views of the Sierra de Ronda mountains, and Europe's first 24-hour course, La Dama de Noche, allows you to play a midnight game thanks to its illuminated grounds – no wonder they called it 'The Lady of the Night'!

Golf isn't the only way to explore the beautiful nature – nature park of Los Reales de Sierra Bermeja is less than an hour away and has breathtaking views of the coast. The name of this "red mountain" is based on iron-rich rocks, which give the area a wonderful reddish-brown color.

There are also plenty of beaches to explore; most of Nueva Andalucia beaches are within walking distance and many more in less than a 10-minute drive including Puerto Banus. Celebrities enjoying the sun can be seen on their luxury yacht in the famous popular port of "PB". On Saturdays, you can enjoy the Nueva Andalucia artisanal market – one of the largest flea markets on the Costa del Sol. Here you will find a wide range of handcrafts, from hand-carved figurines, ceramics, paintings, clothing, furniture, textiles and antiques, not to mention spices and fresh local products.

You will find a property that will suit every budget, from luxury poolside villas to modern apartments and modern terraced houses.

Although there are buses that run from Benitachell, there is no direct train connection, so it is better to have a car.

Nearby Marbella has many businesses and companies providing services to locals who live there. This is good news for English-speaking job seekers, as foreigners often prefer to do business in their native language. In general, you can find most of the work opportunities in the leisure and tourism sectors, but you can also find work in real estate and childcare, English teaching, management, beauty, retail and IT.

Public health

There are a number of private clinics nearby; the public health in Nueva Andalucia is provided by the La Campana clinic.

There are a number of private and public Spanish-speaking schools in the area, but if you want to follow the English curriculum, Aloha College provides British-style international education and is located in the neighbourhood.

Cost of living

The cost of living in this area depends to a large extent on lifestyle. Public services are generally at very reasonable prices and the huge amount of places to eat means that there is always something to suit all budgets.
